Private means private
Personal trees begin private. Access is deliberate, and private work cannot quietly leak into the public graph.
Publication leaves a trail
Proposals, review decisions, and canonical changes remain separate and auditable so a bad update can be traced and corrected.
The review ladder
Trust grows in rounds.
A contributor does not publish directly to the public tree. Independent reviewers weigh the evidence first. Clean consensus moves forward; disagreement asks for more scrutiny instead of forcing a false certainty.
